The dMAT (Digital Master Assessment Test) is a computer-based aptitude test by g.a.s.t., the German body behind TestDaF and TestAS. It is evaluated centrally at the TestDaF Institute in Bochum and is becoming part of the APS India verification process for selected Master's applicants to Germany. Your dMAT result is reflected on your APS certificate.

Two parts of 90 minutes each with a 30-minute break, all in English. The Core Module has three subtests: Figure Sequences (20 tasks, 25 minutes), Mathematical Equations (20 systems, 25 minutes) and Latin Squares (16 tasks, 20 minutes). The Subject Module presents a typical problem from your field group followed by single-choice questions. No notes or rough paper are allowed anywhere in the exam.
